Natalie has been playing her guitar quite a lot lately. She finds songs on YouTube and learns enough to sing along. It is really cute – we cut a demo just this week! Her grandmother loves it, that’s all that counts.
Today she was going through our vast collection (too vast) of DVDs and pulled out ALL of her Wiggles DVDs and CDs and told me to sell them. If you are not familiar with The Wiggles, go to YouTube and you can satisfy your curiosity.
You can see some of the DVDs she is asking me to sell right here:
I was surprised when she sat down and started singing a song of her own creation ABOUT the Wiggles. I probably should NOT have been surprised – they’ve been a key companion through many years of her childhood! The song went like this:
The Wiggles, The Wiggles, The Wiggles (strum strum strum)
The Wiggles are awful…
(strum strum strum strum)
(Wow! I can see she is REALLY ready to get rid of The Wiggles!)
…different from each other. Each one is different.
(Strum strum strum strum)
Oh, Okay! AWFUL DIFFERENT from each other! Yikes! This kid keeps me in stitches!
