We tried to build the snowhorse….

Yesterday was the “great blizzard” of 2013. Not that great… maybe 8″ snowfall. BUT, for the only time this year, we had a snowday from school and work, so that WAS GOOD! Here is the one that knows how to dress for the snow:

All geared up!

All geared up!

And here is (blurry) PRINCESS Snow Gear:

Our trusty snowblower (and its capable operator) met the challenge and left enough time for this:

Snow Horse

Snow Horse

You see Michelangelo there, putting the blocks of marble snow into place… the report later was that the head block was put in place but FELL and smashed into bits. Marble is so fragile. So Princess Snow Gear stomped the rest of it into oblivion because, of course, you cannot have a headless horse. Man! (get it?)  Because the girl-child is lucky enough to have a brother who is almost always in good spirits,  Michelangelo thought it was funny so they both came in happy.

The biggest brother showed up later and when the two boys went in to “tuck Nat into bed” there was much giggling and merriment.

Again with the blurry. Grrr.

Again with the blurry. Grrr.

Happy Kids. Happy Mom. Have a happy day!
